In this evening masterclass, RCM recorder players learn from Susanne Fröhlich, one of today’s most innovative players, known for her versatility.
Susanne’s repertoire ranges from early music to contemporary, exploring improvisation and unique concert formats. A former member of the acclaimed Quartet New Generation, she has performed internationally as a soloist and worked on productions that span fine arts, opera and theatre. Her work includes premieres at leading concert halls and festivals, alongside ensembles such as Ensemble Adapter, Ictus Ensemble and Trickster Orchestra.
Her performances have earned her international awards and scholarships in Berlin, Darmstadt, Krakow, New York and Rotterdam. Currently teaching at the Berlin University of the Arts, Susanne also records for prestigious labels including ECM Records, NEOS, GENUIN classics and Pantopia Music.
