Known for his for his sensitive playing, Marcello Gatti has performed worldwide on Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic flutes. Today he shares his experience with musicians from the Historical Performance Faculty.

With an extensive repertoire as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, he has collaborated with leading ensembles such as Ensemble Aurora, Europa Galante, Le Concerts de Nations and Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and many others. Since 2014, he has taught historical flute at the esteemed Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
