One of the most sought-after musicians in his field, Claudio Bohórquez takes us behind the scenes in an illuminating masterclass.
Having achieved success at an early age at international competitions such as the Tschaikowsky Youth Competition in Moscow and the Rostropovich Cello Competition in Paris, the German-born cellist of Peruvian-Uruguayan descent has gone on to perform with almost all German radio orchestras, as well as in the US and in Japan with the NHK Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
From 2011-16 Claudio was a professor at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart, and has been a guest professor at the Hochschule für Musik ‘Hanns Eisler’ Berlin since 2003.
