Immanuel Richter, the distinguished Swiss trumpet virtuoso, leads an inspiring masterclass with RCM Brass Faculty musicians.
Immanuel trained at the Zurich University of the Arts under Claude Rippas, graduating with distinction in teaching, orchestral, and concert diplomas. He has performed as Principal Trumpet in major orchestras, including the Basel Symphony Orchestra, teaches at the Lucerne School of Music, and from summer 2025 has been serving as Professor of Classical Trumpet at his alma mater in Zurich.
Immanuel has studied under, and performed masterclasses with Pierre Thibaud, Allen Vizzutti and Maurice André, bringing a rich depth of orchestral and pedagogical insight to his work.
