The Royal College of Music's learning and participation programme, RCM Sparks, provides inspiring opportunities for families, schools and young people to engage with music education. With RCM Sparks, fun and learning go hand-in-hand!
We run a series of public events and activities for schools at the Royal College of Music in South Kensington. Many of our events are tailored around full-scale Royal College of Music performances. We also offer a special programme for families and young people living in our local area. By partnering with other institutions, we are able to provide the benefits of music education where they are most needed in the community.
Many of our activities are tailored for specific age groups and focus on the unrivalled bonding experience of music-making as a family. All of our work is based around clear learning pathways, which allow us to develop musicianship and learning skills in line with children's changing needs.
