Xiaoxuan Gao Ward 001-Inside of the Mind

Royal College of Music composer Xiaoxuan Gao directs her inaugural stage play set to her original compositions. The performance includes three contemporary chamber pieces, two of which are world premieres.

…This is the story of a mental patient.

What truly happened to him? Safe in the ward or lost in the shadows? Enter this realm of mystery: a fusion of music, movement, and visual enigma that blurs the lines of reality. Dare to uncover the hidden.

Visit the Great Exhibitionists page for the full programme of events.

This performance is not suitable for younger audiences and contains mature themes which some audience members may find upsetting. If you need any support for topics covered please visit the Mind website.
