In this masterclass, Finnish pianist Pauliina Tukiainen supports Royal College of Music collaborative pianists to develop their skills in performing with singers and instrumentalists.
Pauliina has made a name for herself as a versatile interpreter and sought-after professor of song interpretation. She has given concerts across Europe at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Tonhalle Zürich, and the Oslo Konserthus. She has a long-standing artistic collaboration with the Bonn Schumann Festival, and since October 2017 has been professor of Lied interpretation at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.

Turangalîla at the Royal Festival Hall
The Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra, led by acclaimed conductor Jac van Steen, perform Messiaen’s epic masterpiece Turangalîla-symphonie at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday 1 May, 7.30pm.
