A passionate and devoted teacher, Adam Walker is professor of flute at the Royal College of Music and Talent Music Masters, Brescia, and gives masterclasses regularly around the world.
Adam was appointed principal flute of the London Symphony Orchestra at the age of 21. In 2009, he received the Outstanding Young Artist Award at MIDEM Classique and the following year, won a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. As a soloist, he regularly performs with major UK orchestras, and as a committed chamber musician with a creative approach to repertoire and programming, he launched the Orsino Ensemble in 2018.
