Master of Music and Artist Diploma in Performance
Shiry completed an Artist Diploma in 2013 at the RCM, Artistic Director of Up Close and Musical, solo violist, tutor at Royal Holloway and Principal for several major London orchestras.

After studying with Ian Jewel in the RCM Junior Department then completing a BA in Social and Political Sciences at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, Shiry returned to music at the RCM. She is now Artistic Director of Up Close and Musical, a boundary-defying festival at the Fidelio Café in Clerkenwell that focuses on artists’ individual narratives to demystify classical music and bring others into the classical music world.

As a solo violist, Shiry has performed at the Royal Festival Hall and has recorded Kate Whitley's Viola Concerto for NMC Recordings. Shiry is a founding member of Trio Klein, whose ground-breaking 80s Night programme was featured on BBC Radio 3; a member of Prussia Cove Open Chamber Music, where she performed with Pekka Kuusisto, Viviane Hagner and members of the Nash Ensemble; and teaches at Royal Holloway, University of London. In demand as a Guest Principal violist, she tours with WNO, as well as performing with the major London symphony orchestras.
