Artist Diploma in Opera (ArtDip)
Harriet completed an Artist Diploma in Opera (ArtDip) at the Royal College of Music in 2018, is a Welsh National Opera Associate Artist and RCM doctoral student.
Since graduating from the RCM, where she studied with Timothy Evans-Jones, Harriet refined artistry as a Welsh National Opera Associate Artist resulted in her making many role debuts. Having first performed the title role of Vixen Sharp-Ears in the The Cunning Little Vixen while a RCM student, she reprised the role recently for Opera Holland Park. She has performed with English Touring Opera, the Britten Sinfonia and the Orchestra of the Welsh National Opera.
I owe such a lot to the RCM, for their lasting support and stage time. The opportunity to perform in the Britten Theatre during my studies was so valuable.
Harriet has returned to the Royal College of Music to undertake a doctorate in parallel with her career as a performing musician, exploring ‘The anachronism of the operatic Travesti in the 21st century’.
