RCM Spring Events

Tuesday 10 December 2013

Booking is now open for the RCM’s Spring Season, jam-packed with exciting events featuring our hugely talented young musicians.

There's something for everyone across our wide-range of over 100 events, as we celebrate Russian piano music in our keyboard festival Kalinka!; present orchestral masterpieces by composers such as Berlioz, Mozart, Shostakovich and J S Bach performed by four of our orchestras; and introduce you to the music of charismatic Italian composer Ivan Fedele.

Added to this, we're once again welcoming you to engage in public masterclasses by some of the world's most eminent performers, including violinist Nicola Benedetti and one of Britain's most admired operatic basses Sir John Tomlinson.

This season we are also marking the centenary of the outbreak of World War One with a series of events, including concerts of European chamber music composed between 1914 and 1918, and a unique performance of Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale narrated by the great actor Edward Fox.

Full details of all these events and much more can be found in our Spring Events Guide or at www.rcm.ac.uk/events
