Vincent Ling Awarded Robert Lewin Scholarship
Monday 27 June 2016
Pianist Vincent Ling has been selected by Awards for Young Musicians (AYM) for a Robert Lewin Scholarship.
Across AYM’s annual awards and other strategic programmes the charity aims to reach 1,000 young musicians every year. Vincent is one of 180 to receive an award in 2016 amid strong competition. Alongside his scholarship Vincent will benefit from individually tailored support through masterclasses and advanced skills workshops with professional musicians. He will also have the opportunity to take part in inspiring day of cross-genre music-making with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at Maida Vale Studios in London.
Vincent, who studies with Natasa Lipovšek at RCMJD, won the Beethoven Junior Intercollegiate Piano Competition earlier this year.
