Take home a coronation anthem and a piece of history. I was Glad, composed in 1902 for King Edward VII, was revised by its composer in 1911 for the coronation of King George V. This facsimile edition of the autograph manuscript clearly shows Parry’s revisions. The original manuscript is housed in the RCM Collections (RCM MS 4255).
