Andrew Robinson

DipRCM

Headshot for Andrew Robinson

Originally studying both flute and piano, and intending to be an orchestral flute player, Andrew eventually found himself collaborating as pianist with both instrumentalists and singers, giving concerts throughout UK and Europe, as well as North America, Pakistan, Israel, and Lebanon.

A natural teacher with a love of languages and extensive knowledge of the song repertoire, his work with singers increased, leading to his work at RCM where he has coached voice students for many years, and since 2013 has provided classes in French Song and Lieder.

When not at RCM, Andrew works with many opera singers, plays for opera groups, coaches a wide range of amateur singers, is pianist for Imperial College Choir, and still occasionally performs.
