Bachelor of Music (BMus)
Matthew completed a Bachelor of Music (BMus) at the Royal College of Music in 1989, a piano teacher and author of over 50 books.
Matthew studied piano with Niel Immelman at the RCM, going on to study at postgraduate level at the Liszt Academy in Budapest.
He was offered the opportunity to perform in Switzerland, which led to finding an agent, more European recitals and an album release. Unfortunately, Matthew developed repetitive strain injury in both wrists so switched directions to one-to-one piano teaching and creating art books. Since then, Matthew has published over 50 books and now lives in Taiwan.
