Spring events at the RCM

Tuesday 11 December 2012

Booking for the RCM's spring season of events is now open. You can take your pick from more than 100 events showcasing some of the world’s very best young musical talent, including concerts, music theatre, family events, lectures and masterclasses.

The hottest tickets are sure to be the return visits of Vladimir Ashkenazy and Sir Roger Norrington. Make sure you book quickly, as we expect their concerts with the RCM Symphony Orchestra to sell out within days.

Also get in quick for our three centenary celebrations: we’re commemorating the 100th birthdays of Benjamin Britten and Witold Lutoslawski, and we start the year with two concerts marking the centenary of one of the most notorious premieres in history: Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.

As usual, we’re celebrating music old and new, with focuses on the music of J S Bach and Steve Reich. And we’re transporting you around the world in our Bohemian Dreams festival, our Awakenings series of chamber concerts exploring music and national identity, and Planet Piano: our much-loved annual keyboard festival.

We look forward to welcoming you to the RCM.
