Results are sent directly to parents as soon as possible after the audition period, usually by around the middle of April. Owing to the large volume of applications, we are unable to enter into correspondence regarding unsuccessful auditions.
The exact date by which we aim to let you know will be noted on the Audition Dates sheet downloadable here (November - March), or sent to you with the information brochure.
If you are offered a place you will have a little time to decide whether or not you wish to accept it. The date by which you must let us know your decision will be stated on your offer letter.
If you decide to accept you will also need to decide (within the acceptance deadline timeframe) the instrument(s) on which you wish to have individual tuition, and whether you require standard length (45 mins 1st study, 30 mins 2nd study) or extended lessons (for which there is an extra cost - for details see Fees & Bursaries). You must also familiarise yourself with what the RCMJD offers and what is expected of students and parents before accepting your place, and will be asked to sign our Regulations. Information for new and current students can be found here.
