Following the outcome of the recent EU referendum, the Royal College of Music will continue to provide updates for current and prospective EU students and those studying on the Erasmus scheme.
The Royal College of Music is committed to continuing to play a central role in European music education. We are recognised as a world-class conservatoire and our international community is a major contributor to this. The diversity of our students and staff from all over the world is something of which we are extremely proud. They bring us exceptional talent, creativity and inspiration. We greatly value the international and European collaborations we have had for many years and hope that they will continue long into the future.
We will continue to update this information with further details as they emerge.
The UK’s Prime Minister triggered Article 50 of the Lisbon treaty on 29 March 2017 signifying the formal start of the two-year negotiation for the terms of Britain’s exit from the European Union. The UK will remain a member of the EU for the next two years and that there will be no immediate changes to the circumstances of European citizens living, studying and working here in the UK.
We wish to reassure everyone that the RCM remains committed to all of its students and staff and will continue to be a welcoming and supportive home for EU students.
