Success for RCM Graduates

Tuesday 9 July 2013

According to statistics published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), RCM graduates are some of the most likely to move onto employment or further study.

Of those who completed HESA’s survey, 98% of RCM full-time first degree leavers reported that they were in employment and/or further study six months after graduating.

This figure of the 98% is the fourth highest reported by graduates across 152 UK higher education institutions.

You can see all of the figures on the HESA website.

The strength of the conservatoire sector in general led the Independent newspaper to run a story with the headline: “If you want to be employed after uni, study music…”
