Screen Composers in the US

Wednesday 27 August 2014

Two composers on the RCM’s renowned Composition for Screen course have taken part in prestigious film music courses in the USA over the summer.

Wan Chu (studying with Enrica Sciandrone) and Benjamin Woodgates (studying with Vasco Hexel) were selected from hundreds of applicants to take part in masterclasses and workshops run by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).

You can read their accounts of taking part in these courses on our Composition pages.

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers is an association of more than 500,000 US composers, songwriters, lyricists and music publishers of every kind of music.
