New Harp Scholarship for 2017

Thursday 22 September 2016

The RCM is delighted to announce a new harp scholarship from The Ashley Family Foundation.

The Foundation will generously cover the full fees of a Welsh harpist studying at the Royal College of Music at postgraduate level for two years from September 2017. The ethos of The Foundation is primarily to strengthen rural communities, particularly those within Wales, and to encourage participation in the arts.

RCM harp professor Ieuan Jones says "We are so grateful to The Ashley Family Foundation for supporting young Welsh talent in this way."

The RCM's String Faculty offers innovative courses that combine instrumental training of the highest calibre with the skills needed to fulfil students' professional potential. Visit our Apply pages for information about how to apply to the RCM. The application deadline is 3 October.

The RCM is committed to enrolling the best students from around the world, and every student who applies for a place at the RCM is also considered for a scholarship to assist with tuition fees. Find out more about RCM scholarships on our Support pages.
