Ashkenazy Live

Thursday 21 February 2013

This Wednesday, the RCM is offering a worldwide audience the chance to witness the RCM Symphony Orchestra’s highly-anticipated upcoming concert with Vladimir Ashkenazy

Ashkenazy's visit to the RCM on Wednesday 27 February to conduct an all-Russian programme promises to be one of the highlights of the London calendar. Star RCM pianist Oxana Shevchenko will feature in Prokofiev’s Second Piano Concerto, and the orchestra will present Rachmaninov’s popular Symphony no 2.

The concert sold out in just 48 hours, but all those who missed out on a ticket will be able to enjoy the performance online for free at www.rcm.ac.uk/live. In addition to the concert itself, interviews with the performers and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage will also offer a fascinating insight into the evening’s music and musicians.

Please visit www.rcm.ac.uk/live at 7.30pm on Wednesday 27 February to join us for what promises to be a spectacular evening.
