A Grand Tour

On 30 June, Ashley Solomon and the RCM Baroque Ensemble are heading to Italy for their second annual concert tour.

Following a hugely successful trip in 2012, they will once again be performing in a series of prestigious locations. The ensemble will be taking their programme of Handel, Vivaldi and Corelli to Frascati, to Nemi – where their concert will be recorded for broadcast by RTL – and finally to the Church of St Pauls in Rome, where their gala concert will be attended by Nigel Baker, British Ambassador to the Holy See, as well as fellow Ambassadors and the Director of the British Council in Rome.

The trip will also offer the chance for the RCM performers to meet their counterparts from the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire in Rome.
