RCMJD at the House of Lords

Wednesday 21 October 2015

One of the RCMJD’s string quartets had the honour of performing at the House of Lords recently.

Students Elodie Chousmer-Howelles, Zoe Zagorac, Natasha Barton and Natalie Martin were invited to play at a fundraising dinner for Peace Hospice. The event was hosted by Princess Michael of Kent and Lord Julian Fellowes, creator of Downton Abbey.

This year’s dinner raised an impressive £23,300. One of the lots auctioned was the chance to conduct the RCMJD Chamber Orchestra at Peace Hospice’s 25th Anniversary Concert in February 2016.
