Later this month, RCM movement coach Desiree Kongerod will be entertaining more than 10 million people when she appears on BBC1’s flagship entertainment show Strictly Come Dancing.

Desiree – who performs as a dancer and circus performer under the name An Act Above – will be joining up with three fellow performers to create a spectacular aerial show as part of the programme on 19 November.

When she’s not flying through the air with the greatest of ease, Desiree can be found at the Royal College of Music, giving movement classes to students in the RCM International Opera School. She is currently working with singers on the RCM’s forthcoming .
