We are seeking a Marketing Officer to join the RCM’s busy Marketing and Communications Department and support exciting new initiatives and partnerships in China. This dynamic new role will focus on:
- ensuring the RCM brand is powerfully and correctly represented across all communications created for the Chinese market by the RCM and our Chinese partners
- raising the profile of the RCM in China
- creating exciting and dynamic content across all communication channels to support the recruitment of high-quality musicians from China to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
The successful candidate will be fluent in spoken mandarin and English with excellent writing skills in both English and simplified Chinese. They will be knowledgeable about higher education in the UK and China, have a good understanding of classical music and the conservatoire sector and have extensive experience using Chinese digital and social media channels.
Applicants must be educated to degree level, a marketing qualification is desirable but not essential.
The RCM may consider acting as a Tier 2 sponsor for Tier 4 visa holders who meet the eligibility requirements to switch into this category.
